it very pretty although the chain on this and most other pendants that i buy are too short. i always end up buying a longer chain

I got this as a Gold Box deal so I didn't pay much and subsequently, didn't get much. The necklace *is* pretty but the pendant is quite small, and the "ruby" is hot pink. Which is fine because it looks cute with a hot pink shirt I have. But if I was buying it for somebody as a piece of July birthstone jewelry, it would miss the mark. It has a "diamond accent" but I was hard-pressed to find it.
I think this is a good piece of starter jewelry for a young teen. It would make a good, inexpensive gift for a young man to buy his girlfriend. Grown women will know better.
